And it’s for ME! That’s the kind of day I was having… no real reason. But I swear the sun was shining a little too brightly, people all over were just a little to stupid and slow…everywhere and in everything they did today, really! I know, I don’ t think it was all me, even though I know my husband was looking at me as if I had 2 heads, or to see if my head had turned completely 180-degrees, or if I was spitting up pea soup, to see if there was anything seriously wrong with me, because even for a bad day it was over the top.
And you know what happens next, talk radio is still talking about Media’s new Sweetheart Ines Sainz. I am SOO over her! Ya know why? My panties just get in such a ruffle, in a big twist, when our media nit wits insist on giving the biggest idiots the most attention. Why in Gods name is this moron from TV Azteca Station from Mexico, Ines Sainz, getting all this attention? Did anyone think that from the beginning this obnoxious woman was scheming to do this whole interview with the Jets dressed this way, supposedly NOT expecting some attention and then receiving said attention was to garner media attention. Has anyone heard this woman speak? Maybe if there was a translator for her the matter could be cleared up in a few minutes. I have heard all the interviews with this woman and I can NOT make heads nor tails of exactly what she is trying to say. She does not have a good grasp on the English (American) language, there may be a disconnect between what she thinks is CUTE , funny and sexy in her country and what we believe to be sexually provocative (harassment) in America. We have so many correct protocols, perhaps that she or her TV station may not be aware of. I do NOT think her attire was proper according to rules, regulations and codes especially if we want to hold the men to the same codes or ethics of conduct!
Also, is it necessary for ANY of the media to follow sports figures into the locker rooms? Is nowhere sacrosanct? Can’t we have any codes to live by, be they moral or just social… don’t these Social Icons deserve the use of toilets and showers alone for a good 5 - 15 minutes after a great win or embarrassing defeat? Then the media dogs can again attack… this would end this whole debate.
Why penalize a whole bunch of young virile men for being just that when a self-avowed sexy chic is thrown in with this victorious bunch of guys and then blame them for being the guys she and us want them to be on the field but magically turn it off two minutes later?
I am a woman saying this, I don’t condone degradation of females, but to penalize a whole sport for the actions of perhaps one woman and one station looking for attention is ridiculous. The way I have interpreted Ines’ take on the whole thing is she supposedly did not realize there was any problem or anything to be embarrassed about until another reporter asked her how she felt and apologized for her embarrassment! Puleease. As usual the Politically Correct Police wanted in on the action. Maybe others felt eclipsed by the self-proclaimed Sexiest Woman Announcer in Mexico and wanted to break this “Embarrassing Story” and it got out of hand…maybe Ines wanted to break into the American market? Whatever the true story is we do not know it…it is not the guys fault alone…don’t pass the blame and the buck WOMEN, it’s not fair, you wanted to be EQUAL and YOU wanted to be in the LOCKER ROOM!!! Take the good with the bad!! Just Sayin’!!
