Haley was sent to the couch safe right away. Then James, too. So Casey went home tonight on one of the last of the seasons episodes of American Idol. We’re coming down to the wire and the competition is getting fierce. It came down to Jacob Lusk, Scotty McCreery and Casey Abrams. Scotty was sent back to the couch safe and it came down to the other two guys. Casey couldn’t be saved this time. As I said yesterday, I think Casey’s days were numbered with his famous growl getting old, it just couldn’t compete with the voices of some of the other contestants. He needed to SING more, not just use his over-done growl . . . I’m sure he’ll get a contract from someone in the music industry, he is a raw talent. They’ll clean him up, teach him some tricks and Viola! another million dollar artist will be born. . .
After all, look at their guest Star Crystal Bowersox, they did a hell of a make-over on her. It was nice seeing her. She sure seemed awfully professionally put together. She looked terrific and sounded great, too. It seemed as if a professional coach had worked on her and her voice – it was always terrific, just the rough edges were gone and now her look was still hippie but tastefully so and her hair and teeth had been professionally treated, not over the top, just so she’s even more good looking. Hey, if someone offered to take care of some of my imperfections, I’d be the first one in line, so good goin’ on Crystal, for as we all no BEAUTY sells!
So good luck to Casey in the future, and we’ll see how the rest of the season pans out and who wins it ALL, I’m hoping for James at this point!
