Who IS this guy Steve Jones (The Host) anyway? Does he bother you guys as much as he
bothers my husband and me? He seems sooo stiff . . . and what’s up with the influx of all the non-American (Welsh, English, etc) people as hosts? Can’t we Americans do our own work, or do we have to out source everything in this country?
So far, LeRoy and Lakoda Rayne are going through! Paula couldn’t be more thrilled! Lakoda Rayne was her last group and if they were kicked off, she would have been done. I don’t know what would have happened to her then. So maybe it was a sympathy vote for Paula.
Now we get to see Rihanna perform. I don’t love her. It looked like a cluster fu#$ with all the dancers jumping around on the stage. Her ripped jeans outfit definitely leaves something to be desired. I don’t think see was singing. She pulled the mike away from her mouth and the voice kept going. Proof?
Third act in no particular order to stay is Chris Rene. Then Melanie Amaro, Josh Krajcik, Marcus Canty and Drew.
So that left Astro and Stacy Francis to sing for their lives. Stacy was a class act and sang. She wasn’t really too good. Astro was cocky as usual and didn’t even feel as if he should have to perform. He asked LA Reid if he should even perform. LA said of course he should. So Astro did grudgingly. He did it half-assed and not that well. Then it was time for the judges to pass judgement. LA Reid of course did vote for Astro even though he did give him a hard time saying he did not appreciate his attitude. Nicole said Astro was not up to par but she was voting for him. Paula said Stacy wasn’t that great and she had to vote for Astro, of course. Simon, Thank God the only honest one as usual, really stood up to the 14-year old and said he disrespected the show and his mother, should unfold his arms, but he had to vote for the most marketable product, so unfortunately he went with Astro!
I would have stood on principle and voted against the little bastard! He had such an attitude. I know he’s young, but to think that he shouldn’t have to perform, just because he wasn’t happy that America didn’t like him and he thinks he’s great. He thought that if they didn’t like him, then he didn’t want to be there either. Huh! Then he should go home. He knows it’s a competition. What is he going to do week after week?
So there you have it! Stacy went home. She was very classy, thanked Simon and left with her head held high.
