Today Saturday, so much to talk about…

Oh my Goodness, if I had a memory I would be dangerous. Today as this wonderful day was passing, I kept saying to myself, (out loud, of course because I like to share everything) this is great fodder for my blog. Now that it’s time to type, I have writers block.  I asked my husband if he remembered anything I said and he is as vague as I am. He really just told me what we did.

So, I’ll start there. We started out in the convertible on a nice drive out to the Cave Creek Museum for something to do for the day. We did get passes at the library yesterday. It was a beautiful day and a beautiful drive.

Cave Creek is a definite “To Do” if you’re looking for a charming little town to drive to and walk around in and shop, have lunch and such.  My husband was content with the museum and the library which was publicly owned and run and quite coincidently having a used book sale right then. I scored big time, two Art books, and 6 other novels for $10. I was definitely a happy camper!

We also stopped at Dairy Queen which was a big splurge for me. I had a Peanut Buster that was out of this world. The peanuts were so roasty toasty they were magnificent!! So it was quite a day. Then on the way home we stopped at the casino, but unfortunately I have nothing good to report! We really could have handed our money to the first Native American we saw and moved on. Oh well! Can’t win every time. The day was wonderful.
