What can they do right in the White House? Not much in my opinion. After Mr. Obama decided to speak an hour straight about the “spill” in the Gulf of Mexico, saying they have been in charge of everything since the beginning, I find it hard to believe. BP has been doing everything, not the gov’t. I believe the Prez. is coming out, speaking now, because he sees his popularity falling even more, if that’s possible. Thank GOD the people have awakened. Hopefully he will be a ONE term President! He’ll do more than enough damage in that term.
I don’t even believe we should call it a Spill, perhaps a LEAK, which it is! Of course it is awful, and unfortunate, and of course BP should be held responsible and liable, but right away cancelling drilling for 6 months isn’t going to fix THIS problem and it definitely won’t help our dependence on the Middle East! So perhaps thinking before reacting would be a good idea and worrying about his popularity numbers is not the way to run a country!
Perhaps calling in EXPERTS, having them work on the problem, how about the Army Corp. of Engineers, how about Naval Submarines going down there to look and see if they have some ideas of what to do, how about leaving Louisiana with their own ideas when they come up with them and their building of sandbars, maybe as the President you might want to go visit and look like you care. Just saying . . .
So, also I hate to say I was right, but . . .
on the Health Care Plan . . .Big Companies are already dropping their Plans for all their workers because . . .WHY??
It’s cheaper to pay the FINE!!! Doesn’t matter that it is WRONG!! It is cheaper!
So No, Mr. President EVERYONE WILL NOT HAVE HEALTH CARE!!!!! ,
What a SURPRISE!!!
So People who were happy with their health plans, now might lose it and have to buy it themselves, or if you are one of the lucky ones who’s company keeps their care, you’ll get a the NEW W2 form which will show your company’s insurance premiums of your care as additional income for YOU to pay additional TAX on and if you’re REALLY lucky you’ll be bumped up to a higher tax bracket so you can pay even MORE taxes so you can help pay for the other 15% who can’t afford their health care. They get you coming and going.
Let’s go back to Louisiana, when hurricane Katrina struck the City of New Orleans during Bush’s rein, when he hadn’t visited after 15 days, not 40 like some “other” president we know ex-czar Van Jones and Ex-Mayor of New Orleans were flipping out that he hadn’t been there yet.
So how come it’s OK that Mr. Obama hasn’t been there yet? I believe that the press looks at things through different glasses and they are not unbiased… hmmmm
Our President is also not going to go to Arlington for Memorial Day so for the first time in many years a President won’t be there at the cemetary. I find this disgraceful. It is a part of American History! What a SHAME!!!
