I believe the day should be a day of reflection, thought and remembrance. It’s 9 years later, and I wish the poor families who suffered through the terrible ordeal could find some means of closure.

I can not believe it has taken 9 years to rebuild on the site.  There are finally some signs of progress, you can actually see the outline of the reflecting pools and where they will be. The actual Freedom Tower is in the process of being built, I think I heard something like they are on the 34 floor. Yeah! There have been so many people speaking their opinion on what should and shouldn’t be built there that to make the most people happy, we are talking America here, it has taken this long just to agree on the contents to be built on the Ground Zero area.

Unfortunately, now there is the brouhaha of the Mosque/Community Center which was not agreed on ever before. Now this Imam has introduced his controversial topic of building a center which so negatively impacts, shocks and upsets so many already suffering from one of the biggest disasters, caused by enemies of America. Why? It just so happens this center is being built for a Religion that is associated with the problems. If the Imam really is a man of peace and wants to bring people together, he could go elsewhere and still have his religious freedom, just look for the path of least resistance,  the one that is the American way, to make the most people happy with a situation, like the rest of  Ground Zero where it took this many years to help agree on, to try to be sensitive to so many people. Just because you have the rights to do something does not mean you should, especially when its so incendiary.

The other maniac, the Pastor in Florida who wanted to burn the Korans actually did stand down. Good for him. Unfortunately, all around the world in Pakistan, and other Middle East countries they were burning the American Flag on 9/11 and dancing and celebrating our distress . It proves the point that America IS the best country, with the most tolerant people who will survive ANYTHING and remain strong!

We stood strong on 9/11/2001 and 9/11/2010 and will remain strong evermore! God Bless America!
