Not to beat a dead horse, about men being different than women, but I don’t get things like the show “Sons of Anarchy“. Is it a guy thing? My husband loves it. To keep peace and to be fair, WE watch it, but I don’t GET it at all…the violence, the gang mentality, the guys hanging out doing all kinds of nasty stuff. Whats THAT about. Is it fantasy? Is it seeing the seedier side of life?

How about these guys that are supposed to be so tough, yet they insist on hugging and kissing and saying that they love each other since the gang is the only “family” they know and have.

About two episodes ago the main characters were at serious odds with each other, the stepfather and stepson,  one in his 50’s and one in his 30’s. They couldn’t keep their hands off each other in this episode, obviously they made up. They couldn’t stop saying they loved each other, they hugged at each occasion they said goodbye, I thought it was a little over the top for some tough motor cycle gang members, but I’ve never known any up close and personal. Then in between they coldbloodedly killed everyone opposing them. OK, is that realistic?! And their women, one a doctor stood right behind them taking care of the children and the homefront, loving them.

So, no I don’t get the appeal. I would not think it’s ok and take care of things, take care of your injuries as you maim, kill, deal drugs and whatever else. Oh, and I will not dance at your parties for you, and shake it. Yay! That’s a great idea. Then marry you. Fabulous. Maybe then I won’t have to “act” and turn tricks. Oh, I’d be moving up in the world. That’s Life in Charming, CA. Oh, I know, then I could have your child and we can raise the next generation of Bikers, yay!
