Let’s Call For a Time of Calm, Peace and Understanding

Let’s not jump to conclusions about this shooting in Tucson, Arizona. With the last 2 years of unrest in politics it is too easy to point fingers and try to blame other opposing groups — such as the Tea party or others and that is just blatantly unfair and won’t help anything.

It was none other than the man who used the gun and shot the shots, none other. The Tea Party movement has been nothing other than a peaceful movement. It is natural to disagree with the other side of the aisle but we should not try to blame this shooting on them. There have always been nuts and always will be. I understand that Gabrielle Gifford’s father was upset and angry that his daughter had just been shot and may have said stupid things in the heat of the moment, but no one else has the right to say derogatory things about the Tea Party in regard to Gabrielle Gifford and this shooting, implying they had anything to do with it..

I think we all need to calm down and use our common sense before we start throwing out innuendos and negative statements about other political parties and other politicians because of this shooting.

Representative Gabrielle Giffords is alive and responsive at this time. She can answer questions posed to her, hold up fingers, but not open her eyes. The doctors are optimistic for her recovery at this time..

So let’s just pray for all those injured, pray for our Great Country and hope this is the end of the unrest! Let’s stay calm, hold together and remember WHO we are, a GREAT people, lets not blame each other and point fingers! AMEN!
