Could the timing of my Christmas present, the Nook been any more advantageous? I doubt it. My boys saw the circular for the Black Friday sale and they immediately thought of me and the nook. Thank God they decided to go and wait out in the dark and cold at 4:00 am for their Mom who they so love. I am a super voracious reader and now that I am a little hung up with this whole “recuperation” thing from having shoulder surgery, my Nook and I are inseparable. I can’t even imagine my life without it. I must have downloaded at least 60 books from my neighborhood library, so I have not spent a dollar, but I have been able to read happily non stop with no problem one handed. Thank God I have it and no one better try to come between me and my Nook! In the beginning, I thought that I was still an old-fashioned paper person, but I have to say, I have seen the light, and Welcome to the 21st Century Evie! there is a better way of reading! In walked my Nook and there is no looking back! Hooray!
