Too Bad Reality Wasn’t Like Pirates of the Caribbean

What a shame these people were attacked and killed by the Somali pirates on their yacht, not like the Hollywood version where Johnny Depp and his cohorts are too busy looking for treasure and fighting sea monsters to hurt innocent victims.

If only for once reality mimicked Hollywood and everyone remained healthy and happy running around the high seas.

What a horror it must have been for Jean & Scott Adams as their  boat the Quest was hijacked by the Somali pirates off the coast of Oman and they were shot and killed. The other two Americans aboard who were also killed were Phyllis Macay and Bobby Riggle.

As the US Military were trying to negotiate aboard the USS Sterrett the US Citizens had already been shot aboard their yacht, and were later treated but died from their gunshot wounds. Two pirates were killed as the US military men cleared the lower deck, one shot, one stabbed, but it won’t bring back our fellow Americans. They were known to be affable people and will be missed by family and friends.

The Adam’s ran a Bible ministry. What a damn shame. There doesn’t seem to be an end to piracy in the near future either!
