it probably is!
As I am a budding artiste, a blogger extaordinare, a humble writer finding my voice, Thank God I am also savvy enough to realize when awful people are trying to take advantage of people’s vulnerabilities. Before I just jump in, I research a site, and I don’t believe anybody who’s offer sounds too good to be true.
There are sites such as RealWritingJobs.com that send you very nice comments, stroking your ego, telling you how they’ve read your latest blog and were sooo impressed with your blog that they are looking for writers like you, blah, blah, blah, sign up for a nominal fee (?) and they’ll set you up with writing jobs, no experience necessary. The amount of money you can make is amazing! Uh huh, if you believe this, would you like to buy a bridge?
For the hell of it, I went and Googled the sight, well! There were quite the comments! Most were negative & definitely called it a scam! Won’t my husband & sons be so proud that I’ve finally grown up and don’t believe anyone anymore!
But what a shame that companies like these can exist and take advantage of people! Why is that? Are there no laws to protect the consumer. . . I guess you should be smart enough to protect yourself, but people like to believe in things, good things.
So I will just keep plugging along writing my blog and books, and if someone really likes my writing, perhaps they will get in touch with me through correct channels and I will be discovered. Ha, Ha! It can happen! You gotta believe!

Ah, scams, you’d think those diabolical human beings who come up with them could possibly find something of value to accomplish besides duping innocent bloggers.
