Obama & Bush – Together In Class!

I have to say, that the now present President, Mr. Obama is showing an enormous amount of class by inviting the past president Mr. Bush to attend the ceremony at Ground Zero to celebrate the killing and death of Osama (Usama) Bin Laden. I was amazed and happily surprised by this turn of events.

I also am quite impressed and happy that Mr. Bush (43) is not going to attend the ceremony. He believes the credit belongs all to Mr. Obama.  I have to say I agree. Mr. Obama did call Mr. Bush which was a stand-up thing to do. Bush and the military probably did lay some ground work, but Obama and his military did the final product and he should get the credit, Bush does not need to be there, it’s Obama’s story.

For once, they are not playing politics and they are acting like mature adults. How great is that for our fine country!

Now, for the truth to come out if there really was waterboarding? I believe that I’m sure torture does work, war is hell, and when you are dealing with other “people” and I use that term loosely, or terrorists who are willing to blow up airplanes and buildings willy nilly and kill thousands of innocent people just because they do not believe the same thing as you do, you have to be willing to take drastic measures to make the playing field almost equal or you will always lose.

I also agree with the President and the Administration and do not think that the pictures of the dead Osama (Usama) Bin Laden need be released. To hell with making people happy with the release of the “proof” of his death. Doubters will never believe if they don’t want to. Things can be faked, and that’s what they can and will say no matter what. There is no winning in this situation, so let’s go with what we think is right. I think gruesome pictures might just upset things more than help.

I also do not think, and I pray we will never release the Navy SEALS 6 people’s names. We do not need any notoriety for these people. We must remember people like this need secrecy and privacy. Remember what happened to the poor people that came home from Vietnam. People act funny when they know that you’ve killed.

Let’s just be happy with this win on the “War On Terror” for now, stay vigilant, and let our government work on more, for once they seem to be working positively.
