I know this is going to be controversial but I’m going to have my say anyway. I am glad I was not on the jury trying to convict Casey Anthony of Caylee’s murder. There was just so much obfuscation and misdirection is it any wonder that Casey got off?
I know many Mothers/women/people will be up in arms but believe me I LOVE children as much as the next person or MORE but who are we to KILL a presumed guilty person? I really do not know if I could have actually convicted her. I know we all can say she’s guilty as hell, but we didn’t listen to the WHOLE case day-to-day ALL day with all the doubt thrown in, did we? That jury did. Remember, it’s supposed to be beyond a REASONABLE doubt, right?!
It’s absolutely horrific how the poor little child died, yes indeed. But do we know who the hell did it? I just don’t know or think so. I do NOT think the prosecution did a good job proving Casey did it, as her parents changed their stories pell-mell, she throwing in the sexual abuse issue and the lawyers throwing in everything including the kitchen sink to muddy the waters.
Will we ever know the truth? Will convicting/and or killing Casey bring back Caylee? No. Hopefully, wherever Caylee is she’s happier than with this sick twisted family she was born into . . . hopefully there is a heaven and God and the Angels are taking care of her and treasuring HER!!!
