I shall list some with both meanings REAL/MINE
tweet: a post on twitter/mindless chatter
bromance: a non-sexual relationship between males that are unusually close /I thought it was two guy friends with an actual crush on each other who just wouldn’t act on it because they weren’t attracted to man-ginas
cougar: a middle-aged woman seeking a romantic relationship with a younger man /that’s putting it extremely nicely . . .not mentioning the plastic-surgery or the creepy looking for sex …. and kinda’ paying for it with their X’s money!
helicopter parent: parents VERY (overly) involved in their children’s lives/obnoxious buttinskys
boomerang child: children who have returned to the family home for mostly financial reasons (probably to the helicopter parents ((just sayin’)) /divorced losers who’ve messed up their financial lives and the parent are their new ATM’s
fist bump: two people take their respective fists and bump them together in greeting or congratulations or celebration . . . made extra-famous and eligible for the dictionary because the President and First Lady did it on TV in front of millions. Supposedly used more than handshakes because of sport enthusiasts and germophobs! (I’m absolutely amazed it was added to the dictionary . . . . . .it’s pretty much self-explanatory . . . and was it really needed? I don’t know. . ./ Originally used by athletes on the field now so over-used it’s no longer COOL!
There are many more . . . about 150 and many have to do with social media.
