CATS Is The Answer!

I can’t find another damn picture of Spooky!

Now I have it. Finally . . . the answer to the ubiquitous question that has been driving me crazy. What do people want to read about? Yup . . .cats. I checked my hits and I had the most hits when I wrote about Cougars – Mountain Lions Sighted in Arizona . . . 367 hits and yesterday I wrote about my cat Spooky and I had about 85 hits so give the audience what they want they obviously want Spooky. He was up to his tricks again this morning.

Why must our pets wake us up when we’re so comfortable in our bed and meow as if we can understand them? I swear I try and try, but until I can discern his exact meow I’m going to have to work on an English-cat dictionary.  I got up after begging him to leave me alone, I really wanted to sleep. Little does he know he’s going to the Groomer for a shaving and claw clipping today so he really should be chilling, he’s going to be having a busy day later, he might want to conserve his energy to fight the girls at Pet Smart!

(That’s going to be a whole other ball of wax . . . I hope when it’s time to go I can find him. Somehow he has a sixth-sense that he’s going somewhere he does NOT want to go, I don’t know how, perhaps I exude pheromones that he can smell? Then I have to get him in his carrier which is always fun, I end up chasing him around the house like a lunatic.  And since it’s time for his claw-clipping . . . OMG, trying to get him in the pretty carrier isn’t easy as he fights me and is stronger. I got the carrier for ME that is Oh so pretty, it’s pink & brown and is a fashion accessory to go with my outfits, I know he’s a boy, but he doesn’t know what it looks like, and he doesn’t care, does HE?)

I grudgingly got up, talked to him hoping he would somehow walk where he wanted to go, lead me where he wanted to go.  So I lead him to the back door, hoping he would go out so I could go back to bed but he snootily looked down his nose and walked away ignoring me as he jumped on the table and promptly decided to nap. I think he just wanted me up as company. Good Morning! No it is not a good morning when I am up at 6:00 am because you want company, Spooky!

When I asked him if he wanted to go out I swear he answered me “No!” It really sounded like an English no! He’s so fresh! Now he’s laying down and I’m up . . .how dare he! What the hell!

So now that I’m up I decided to type up this blog and share it with you!

I usually take my cat carrier out a day or so in advance or at least the night before the appointment to get my Firepie used to the idea that we may be going somewhere. On the the day of, I still close all the bedroom doors so she can’t hide and it’s easier to get ready to go.
Your Spooky attracted me to your Blogs. I am a total animal person especially cats.

I’m so glad you stopped by . . .Thank you for reading and thanks for the advice. What a struggle we had with the carrier . . . what a smart one that Spooky is. He was clawing is way at the edges, not getting in, what a riot. I was a trembling sweating mess by the time I had him in and there was a little space at the other end and he was sticking his paw through the space of the zippers, how pitiful! Awwww! He’s such a good boy! I love him sooo!

I have been visiting many blogs and I saw many people who love cats. I am one of them. But, I don’t have any yet 😦 I plan to move to a tiny apartment. I don’t know if I can have any pet. If I can, I will probably search for an adoption. Have a great day 🙂
