Finally Got To Fire My Canon . . . .

Okay… here we go again, get the psychiatrist on speed dial!  I’ve mentioned before how technologically challenged I am but nooooo I don’t let that stop ME! If anything I take that as a sign from the Gods that I must try new things and fly in the face of adversity. So having won money at the casino and having decided before I frittered away the money I should buy something with it I purchased a Canon EOS Rebel camera. A new tool for my creativity is now in my arsenal . . .watch out!

OMG, Evie, how’s that working for you? Hmmmm, well, it’s a challenge alright. I’m getting frustrated, that’s my MO. I kind of expect to understand things right away. I am not going to cry, I am not going to cry. A new mantra.  No sir! I will beat this thing.

I got up early this morning ready and psyched to take some pictures of my art to share.

But they were all out of focus . . . as you can see! Damn! This is a drawing of mine, pen and ink, now I have to figure out what I am doing wrong with the camera . . . so bear with me. I will beat this and share more pics as I learn.

I would like to share pictures of Spooky the Cat, my art, and whatever else moves me and hopefully you will enjoy. Stay tuned. . . .

Okay, I got this . . .getting better. This is some of my art I’m working on. I’m dabbling with pen and ink and calligraphy pens.

About Evie Garone

I am an outspoken woman with independent views of the world. I am spiritual but also realistic. I've successfully raised two men who I've sent off to college and am now following my love of the arts, including painting, drawing and writing. Thus, two blogs, two books I sporadically work on, voracious reading, among other loves keep me busy.
