Sharon Bialek is the first woman to actually come forward to accuse Herman Cain of wrong-doing out of the 4 . . . of sexually inappropriate behavior 14 years after the fact. She supposedly wants nothing but an apology from Republican Presidential Candidate Herman Cain. She says, with her laywer Gloria Allred beside her that she wants no monetary compensation and no lawsuit will be filed, and that there are no book deals in the works. Let’s see if that remains true.
She alleges that he behaved inappropriately in a car after a dinner meeting where she was trying to solicit help for a job by putting his hand up her skirt and pushing her head towards his crotch. OMG! If she really wanted just an apology, wasn’t there a different avenue to pursue this matter and sooner? Did we need all the dirty little details?
Herman Cain and his Campaign people have finally gotten their act together and decided to plead “No Comment” and “All allegations of harassment against Herman Cain are false.” and We’re getting back on message” instead of feeding the machine.
Unfortunately for Herman Cain his polling numbers have dropped from 60% favorable by Republicans to 47%. This is not a scientific poll, though, and I wonder at the veracity of these claims and how they will continue to hurt the candidate. This is such a sticky wicket, I hate to take sides. How can we ever know the truth? But allegations are just that, allegations.
We’ll just have to see how this plays out, but unfortunately for both sides, I’m sure it will be played out in the media and will be mean and ugly for everyone involved. Unfortunately it seems to be taking attention away from the candidate’s legitimate run for office and his 9-9-9 Plan.
Time will tell.
What do you think?

It’s a he-said, she-said from 15 years ago. You never want to NOT take harassment of any kind seriously, but she waited until now? Not when he was a rich businessman and could have made a ton of money, but now?
My guess is she’ll go on the talk-show circuit and there will be that book deal at some point.
It’s sad if he did it and it’s even sadder if he didn’t.

My curiosity is piqued to see what happens, but as you said sad either way!
I too think there will be a book at the end of the talk-show circuit . . . 15 minutes of fame is too enticing and so is big money.

One word “Clinton.” Two words. “He won.” Three words. “Wait and See.”
