Jessica Sanchez & Hollie Cavanagh made it through as the part of the final ten before the judges get to pick.
Joshua and Heejun make it through. I find it hard to believe that Heejun made it. If it’s a talent singing contest I do NOT see how Heejun is going through, but I guess we know the truth now, it’s a popularity contest and silly show!
Shannon makes it through with Skylar Laine and I agree with this choice.
Finally Jermaine & Colton. Yes it makes sense. Now we’ll wait to hear the judges choices.
The judges pick Jen Hirsh to sing for her life. She sings “O Darling” by the Beatles and it’s only okay. She really needed to finally sing a song that was relevant! We have to hear 5 other contestants to pick from. We shall see what the vote will be to pick the 3 remaining of the 13. It’s Jeremy’s turn to sing “I Know You Won’t” by Carrie Underwood. He cries and begs like a baby and pulls at Jennifer’s heartstrings…that can’t hurt…I don’t know about you, but I HATE to see a guy cry! ICK! Brielle from Staten Island gets her chance to sing for her life. I have not been a big fan of hers. The judges have. Obviously, since they called her back to sing for her life. She sings “Someone Like You” and they do not think she’s great. Neither do I. I think finally she’ll go home. As per usual they show her Mom just loving her, perhaps that’s part of the problem, hello MOM has been telling her since she was 3 that she could sing!
Deandre sings “Georgia On My Mind”. They love him as usual. I don’t. I just think he is Nilli Vannilli come back to life. Or a great big hair ball on legs.
Erica sings Lady Gaga’s “Edge of Glory” and does a great job. Reed Grimm sings “Use Me” by Bill Withers. They really didn’t say how he did. I like him, he is so different. But I don’t know if he is marketable.
Now it’s time to pick the wild cards ….the judges pick with NO trouble… Ericka Van Pelt, Jeremy Rosado and Deandre. I’m happy for Erica and Jeremy but Deandre is not my favorite.
I should have guessed. The little girls buy CDs, WATCH & vote, vote, vote and download songs. People who might like Reed Grimm like my husband and I probably don’t spend any money. So there you go!
I do not agree with Heejun and Deandre in the final 13…. other than that I’m pretty much with them…. Oh well we’ll see!
