Here we go again……..it’s Elimination Night and someone must go home…….
Okay, but first I really need to know WHO dresses Jenny from the block? What is that gold sequins dress with white stars…really, on a 40 year old woman? Interesting fashion choice. Jenny is really working it: a new single, a new show with her ex- husband Marc Anthony called Q Viva finding Latin American talent, and a new digital cover of Vogue that is beautiful, this show, twins, how does she do it all? God Bless her, I’m tired just imagining her schedule!
Then we find out Daughtery will be here to perform. Also Tommy Hilfiger is going to style the contestants as individual stars starting next week. Thank God, because they all could use some help in that department. Fashion is important and someone of his caliber should be great if he keeps in mind their real personalities and just enhances them, not runs roughshod over them.
Joshua Ledet got an e-mail from Percy Sledge saying he thought he sang a 10 out of 10 last night singing ‘When a Man Loves a Woman” it was that fabulous and he’s safe and going on the live tour! Terrific for him!
Phillip Phillips is also safe. Skylar Laine is safe, too. They are all on the tour.
Elise Testone is in the bottom three. I can’t believe it. I am very disappointed for her.
Colton is safe to pack his bags for the summer going on the live tour! So is Jessica Sanchez. These are no brainers if you ask me! Deandre is safe for the tour. The world is not fair! He really was not good the night before and I just do not get the appeal, but I guess he has the little girls voting for him.
Shannon is in the bottom three and might go home!
Daughtry is live on Idol coming back from Season 5 since they’ve gone global. Playing their single “Out Of My Head”. He has some serious appeal. I liked him back then and it’s great to see someone become a great success.
Hollie is going on the live tour! Thank God. Erika is in the bottom 3 and somehow Heejun is safe. WTF???!!! America must have a tin ear or is crazy…..
Thank God Elise comes back to safety……and the tour….Yay!
The judges aren’t happy with the results either! So now it’s between Shannon or Erika…..Erika is saved and goes on tour. Now Shannon sings for her life. She seems like a nice enough kid, she’s 16 but she has a lot of time ahead of her to improve; her father is a retired pro baseball pitcher who pitched in the world series so perhaps with that kind of money and now with the exposure she has gotten if she is truly meant to be a singer, perhaps it’ll happen when it’s meant to happen.
Shannon goes home! The judges DO NOT save her!
