“The VOICE” — Night 2 — Blind Auditions Continue

The hard luck stories continue…

Adriana Louise sings “Domino”.  CeeLo and Adam turn around almost right away. Then Christina then Blake. She is a very attractive dynamic young woman. Christina immediately makes her case to get her on her team. Then CeeLo says they look like they are married. It’s a little creepy. He’s a little inappropriate. Blake says she’s like a super star. Adriana says the first record she ever bought was Christina’s so she picked Christina for her mentor. Her family is very emotional and proud of her in the green room.

Next up is a wrestler and country music singer Casey Muessinger singing “Sweet Home Alabama”. Blake turns around, then CeeLo. So of course CeeLo makes his case, but really was it ever a choice or a surprise that he’d pick, “the man”, Blake? No?! He does…

Then Aquile sings “Your Song” and Adam and Christina turn around simultaneously. I love this song. He tells a story with his singing. He is softly spoken but nice, CeeLo turns around right at the end. Adam says they have to calm down the crazy, screaming ladies. He said his voice has a crazy, buttery tone. Christina says she “gets” him. She wants a private concert. And he picks…..Christina, nice sucking up Christina!

Mackenzie Bourg sings  “Pumped Up Kicks”.  CeeLo pushes the button first. The kid is different. I can see him with CeeLo, which is good since he’s the only one who pushed his button. I thought he was okay.

The final artist is Julio Cesar Castillo who sings “La Bamba” in Spanish. Blake turns his chair immediately. CeeLo turns eventually. He has a very nice voice and they fight over him and even have him sing mariachi. It is hearwarming.

So there you have it.
