#The Voice Battle Rounds…Steals Included with–Mary J. Blige, Michael Buble’ & Rob Thomas

The show starts off with a sing-off between Casey Muessigmann a country singer and wrestler from Iowa and the Scottish rocker Terry McDermott singing “Carry On Wayward Son” . They are helped by Michael Buble’ and he gives them some great advice. It is a great sing-off.  Blake has a tough decision to make. He picks Terry because he thinks he knows himself as an artist more than Casey. No one wants to steal Casey, too bad for him! I am sad for Casey, I liked him and thought he had a good country voice. Blake loved the way he slapped his ass!

Next up is Bryan Keith and Collin McLoughlin who were mentored by Mary J. Blige and Adam to sing “Santeria” . They are both from NY and are both really good singers who want to win. I love Bryan for some reason….and am so happy Adam kept him. What’s so funny is that CeeLo and Blake want to steal Collin. He’s okay…”Santeria” just wasn’t for him to sing, he just was too high strung for the song….so now it’s up to Collin to pick, and he picks Blake, so Blake steals Collin.

Diego Val from Peru and JR Aquino an Internet sensation from Team CeeLo want to put a new twist on  singing”Jessie’s Girl”. CeeLo and Rob Thomas give their advice to the guys. Diego is a little rough in the beginning as English is his second language and JR is smooth as silk, but it seems as time goes on that Diego gets better. Also it seems JR might be a little too tame singing this song, while Diego is a little dirty, like Ceelo likes it! I am happy for Diego that CeeLo pickes him to go on to the knock-out round, and JR goes home.

Next up is De’Borah versus Nelly’s Echo from Nigeria for Team Christina singing  “Message In A Bottle” by the Police. It seems like Nelly’s Echo has the upperhand as he sings so well and has confidence. Billie Joe Armstrong from Green Day and Christina help give them advice and they seem to be getting it though De’Borah seems to be having a little more trouble because she doesn’t know the song at all. While as we watch it I think they are going to kind of sing it normal, but as we eventually watch it it is quite different, they both wing it. De’Borah blows Nelly’s Echo away and wins the competition. I am very surprised that Nelly’s Echo didn’t shine like he did in the practice. No one steals Nelly, too bad for him, for as we watched him practicing his voice was amazing!

Next up is 2 Steel Girls – a mother and daughter country singing duo Versus Gracia Harrison the yodeling girl on Team Blake to be mentored by Michael Buble’. Blake keeps Gracia and Adam is so sad, he was hoping Blake would let Gracia go so he could scoop her up with a steal, but, nope, didn’t happen, and no one wanted the mother daughter package! All the judges thought they all did a good job, but Blake just has a thing for Gracia and keeps her.

Now it’s time for Amanda Brown versus Trevin Hunte on Team CeeLo. Trevin Hunte touched everybody’s hearts at the tryouts. They are singing Mariah Carey’s “Vision of Love”. Amanda had so much more confidence during rehearsals, but Trevin comes out with IT and they both have shown so much talent everyone gave them a standing ovation, now CeeLo must wish he never put them up against each other! Who will he pick to keep? He keeps Trevin. The other 3 coaches want to steal Amanda….they all make their case….she is so pretty and talented…….she picks……ADAM! He is so psyched!

She is so happy…….!  CeeLo is so sad! That’s it for tonight.
