Never Too Late…

volcano-eruptionwhy do we say what we say

sometimes words and thoughts bubble up

like lava

just to be said

not necessarily the message or tone

may be meant

but the need to be heard

after the words are said

they can’t be taken back

erased, like a writing on a chalkboard

if only

too late……

sorries are said

worries are felt

all for inconsequentials

that seemed so important

with reflection,

aren’t

too late….

with love,

understanding

never too late……

About Evie Garone

I am an outspoken woman with independent views of the world. I am spiritual but also realistic. I've successfully raised two men who I've sent off to college and am now following my love of the arts, including painting, drawing and writing. Thus, two blogs, two books I sporadically work on, voracious reading, among other loves keep me busy.
