What Scares Me….

Hearing all the confluences and influences

whispering to me

in the predawn hours

I can’t discern

is it my honesty and integrity

talking to me

or societal mores

reverberating through the universe

I stop and think

is it my truth….

and sometimes I just don’t know

and that’s what scares me…
