To Live Life Simply

I’m at the airport waiting for my flight home…. it’s been a long few days. My mother had a massive heart attack and I dropped everything on Thanksgiving night to fly to Naples, FL to be with her and my brother.

I was blessed I arrived in time to see her before she passed away. I held her, kissed her and was able to say goodbye.

This time of the year is a hard time to lose someone so dear, but is anytime a good time?

The take away I’m getting from this life lesson is that nothing small matters. It was just wonderful to be there with my family when things mattered.

Christmas shopping and decorating don’t matter…. I’ll be back home with my family, enfolded in the love and caring that I need at this time.

I wish you all the peace, joy and love of the season. Let’s all remember what is really important!
