Antiquing and Salvaging

It’s been a while since I scoured antique shops and salvage yards, but since meeting two new women whom I share the love of the hunt with, we decided to start.

I had 2 stained-glass shades that my father made me, put away in a closet awaiting future projects thinking I had to rewire them to accommodate the lampstands. Mentioning it to my new friends, we decided to go forward with the “hunt” of the lamp post for said shade.

What luck and what fun!

We found it on the first outing and it fit without the dreaded “rewiring” I was expecting. Since one puchase would never be enough for me I also found this lovely vintage plant stand.

Isn’t it fabulous? I love eclectic things, and this was just the ticket!

More later……have to go have coffee with a friend.

Hi Evie! I love the stained glass lamp…it looks a lot like the one Danee has in his room. So pretty. Also LOVE the plant stand… What a great find! 🙂
