Here is “The Grinch” at the Aria Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada USA at the Jean Phillippe Patissserie made of more than 100 lbs. of chocolate fondant. It is pretty amazing.

The holiday season is a very busy time everywhere and it is no different in Vegas. We’ve been there many times before and I never remember it quite as crowded at it was Dec. 27-30th. Oh, perhaps I’m wrong…..I’m sure today and tomorrow will be even worse….but we left in time to miss the snow and traffic leaving Vegas.

We stayed at The Aria Resort and did not think it was terribly crowded. We played in the casino Saturday night to Monday night and never had any trouble finding machines.

On the other hand we walked Vegas Blvd. and it was pretty crazy. The Bellagio was pretty cray cray too with the influx of International visitors eagerly viewing the Atrium. I’m not sure if it is a big vacation time worldwide, but I did hear that Vegas is the second most popular destination second only to New York City and Times Square on New Year’s Eve in the country.

Here are some pictures of The Bellagio Atrium decorated for Christmas…..

It’s very pretty but I think Halloween’s exhibit is more impressive. I always find Vegas a fun place….but beware of crowds at holidays if they bother you!
