MY chest looked even nicer, but I had to give the X-rays to my Doctor!! Sorry!
Today was an extremely busy day. As I was happily snoozing away this morning, the phone rang and it was my friend who was outside in her car waiting, ready to drive me to my Lab appt. for my MRI. Yikes. Needless to say, no time for make-up! As I jumped into clothes, quick as could be, I think I was out the door within 10 minutes happy for my short hair that only needs a brush dragged through it. Thank God I showered the night before.
Flash ahead, she knew what she was doing and avoided all the traffic, we made amazing time and the MRI went off with no hitches. We had so much time we returned to my house to regroup before her Dr.’s. appt. As we were waiting, I called the surgeon’s office and was lucky enough to get right through and make a date for surgery next Thursday and as we spoke she immediately set up the pre-operative lab work to be done right that afternoon.
So, on to the next Dr.’s appt. this/that afternoon. EKG done, blood work done, urine work done. Went next door to do chest X-rays … done. I happened to know the Radiologist, and the chest X-rays looked good, so no surprises! Yay! Now I can have a nice weekend, no crazy dancing or hanging from chandeliers, don’t want the shoulder coming out before the surgery, but a nice dinner and some cocktails wouldn’t be a bad idea.
